On September 8th, the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade was held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. Chuxiong Prefecture organized a delegation to Xiamen for investment promotion and inspection activities. During this period, Peng Wei, Vice Governor of the Chuxiong Prefectural People's Government, visited Summit Biotechnology (Xiamen) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Summit Xiamen"), a subsidiary of Summit Group. The leaders first visited the corporate culture exhibition hall and product exhibition hall of Summit Xiamen, and gained a detailed understanding of the company's development history, product structure and technological innovation achievements. At the subsequent symposium, Chairman Huang Jinlong gave a systematic report on the Group's current production and operation status, core technological advantages, main spice business, as well as the newly added walnut deep processing project and plant-sourced agricultural chemical project, and also introduced the opportunities and challenges currently faced by the enterprise.
Vice Governor Peng Wei carefully listened to the report and fully affirmed the achievements of Summit Group in promoting local economic development, advancing industrial upgrading and fulfilling social responsibilities. He pointed out that Summit has achieved remarkable results in the walnut deep processing industry, which is of great significance in multiple aspects. Firstly, it has effectively boosted the income of local farmers. By establishing a sound industrial chain, the company has created a large number of job opportunities for local farmers, covering both the walnut planting and harvesting stages as well as the deep processing process, thereby significantly increasing farmers' income. Secondly, it has made outstanding contributions to the development of the whole province. Summit has developed a successful and replicable model in terms of technological innovation and industrial operation, which has driven the development of the walnut industry and its related upstream and downstream industries in other regions of Yunnan Province. Thirdly, it has provided new ideas for Yunnan's economic development. Through the deep processing of walnuts, it has extended the industrial chain and increased product added value, exploring a new path for promoting regional economic development through the deep processing of characteristic agricultural products.
